A hyperreal exploration of conspiracy theories using the narratives of various groups in Trump’s America. A detective story telling one possible truth about the mysterious disappearance of a young girl in a hotel located in a post-apocalyptic desert landscape. The anonymous hotel as a deus ex machina - a simulacrum of past, present and future through which the detective is led by clues ranging from the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan to an ultra-orthodox Jewish organisation Neturei Karta.
